Podcasting as an industry is at a nascent stage in India, but most reports conclude that podcasting is at the point of inflection due to the cheap data rates, higher penetration of smartphones, and growing popularity of listening apps like Gaana etc. Founded by two serial entrepreneurs (and MDI alumnus) – Akshay Datt and Saurabh Garg, thepodium.in is a podcast network with a focus on creating inspirational content for lifelong learners. As a Content Marketing Intern, you will be involved in creating compelling content to build a brand and audience engagement for the podcasts and events of thepodium.in

You will be directly reporting to the founders who have decades of experience in building and scaling startups and will get lead many initiatives pretty much independently.

Some of the goals you would be chasing in this internship would be:

What would you work on?

TBI has three internal driving engines – Editorial, Brand Partnerships and Marketing. For the first month, you will spend time with each function to identify gaps and challenges and then later pick up smaller projects within each team.

There is no fixed set of responsibilities for this role, but if you insist, here is a sneak peek:

  • Work directly with the founders to solve key product, organizational and operational level challenges
  • Research, model, evaluate, and plan go-to-market strategies for new and existing products
  • Conceptualise and work closely with the founders to help launch new products and initiatives in the following areas – impact, content, sales and people and culture
  • Evaluate and improve current processes, create metrics and KRAs
