Role and Responsibilities:


  • Work with Purchase Requisition (PR)-Purchase Order (PO) management process and system.
  • Maintain, enforce, and refine the PR-PO workflow for the organization.
  • Perform continuous cross-functional work with other Teams including but not limited to Finance Teams to ensure that policy and procedure for PR-PO process and system are current.
  • Perform monthly quality assurance review of PR-PO created to ensure that PR-PO reflects true economic activity and correct any identified deficiencies.
  • Provide and implement solutions for identified gaps in current PR-PO process to achieve higher efficiency and accuracy for data entry and reporting.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of the PR-PO process and procedures for the organization.
  • Manage and train a team of PO Operations Specialists.
  • Responsible for the tracking process of PR-PO from creation to closure, including but not limited to approval of PR fund, confirmation of receipt of goods, and ensuring timely payments are made.
  • Provide bi-weekly status reports on all open PR-PO under the organization and plan of action to drive PO to closure status.
  • Prepare reports on the organization’s monthly and annual spending.
  • Utilize data to perform cost analysis of the organization’s operation.
  • Support month end close, spend forecast, and data collection for the organization.




  • Bachelor Degree with a major or emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience working with financial applications such as Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning and 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
  • Proficient with Financial Applications (e.g. Oracle ERP), Google Workspace, Atlassian products (e.g. Jira, Confluence), and work management platforms (e.g. Asana).
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-Oriented, self-starter, and critical thinker.
